MixR respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, accessed, and used when you use the MixR platform.


Information We Collect

MixR collects only the information necessary to operate the service, which may include:

Google & YouTube API Data Access

MixR uses Google OAuth and YouTube API Services to enable optional account connection and playlist management features.

All Google user data is accessed only after the user explicitly authorises access via the Google OAuth consent screen.

When a user signs in with Google or connects a YouTube account, MixR accesses the following Google user data only after explicit user consent:

Spotify Data Access

When a user connects a Spotify account, MixR may access Spotify data authorised by the user through Spotify's authentication process, which may include:

MixR does not stream audio, cache audio files, or control Spotify playback. Any playback occurs entirely within Spotify applications or services selected and controlled by the user.


Apple Music Data Access

When a user connects an Apple Music account, MixR may access Apple Music data authorised by the user, which may include:

MixR does not host, stream, cache, or transmit Apple Music content. Playback occurs solely through Apple Music services controlled by the user.


Scope-Based Access Clarification

Depending on how a user interacts with the platform, MixR may request different levels of access from connected services strictly limited to user-initiated actions.

No additional scopes or permissions are requested beyond those required for playlist viewing and playlist management.


Data Sharing & Disclosure

MixR does not sell, license, rent, or trade user data.

User Control & Revocation

Users may disconnect any third-party service at any time within the application.

Once access is revoked, MixR immediately loses the ability to access Google user data and does not request further access unless reauthorised by the user.

Upon revocation, MixR will no longer be able to access data associated with that account.
