MixR — Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MixR platform ("MixR", "we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using MixR, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MixR, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and agree to comply with all applicable laws and third-party service terms.

2. Nature of the Service

MixR is a music request and playlist organisation tool. MixR enables users to submit and manage song requests and organise playlists based on requests they choose to accept. MixR does not stream, play, transmit, or rebroadcast music or video; control audio devices or playback software; upload, host, cache, or distribute media; automate playback; or provide music licences or public performance rights.

3. Third-Party Music Services

MixR may integrate with third-party music platforms. Each platform has its own terms and licensing rules. Consumer music subscriptions are generally licensed for personal, non-commercial use. MixR does not verify or enforce compliance with third-party terms. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable rules and licences.

4. Requests

Song requests submitted through MixR are non-binding and editorial in nature. MixR does not guarantee that any request will be accepted, added to a playlist, or played. All decisions remain with the user.

5. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

MixR is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, MixR is not liable for licensing disputes, copyright claims, third-party enforcement actions, or misuse of external music services.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Public Data Indexing

MixR may collect and index publicly available event and music-related information from third-party websites for the purpose of event discovery, analytics, and platform functionality.

MixR does not claim ownership of third-party content and makes reasonable efforts to respect applicable platform policies and intellectual property rights.
